During July 2013, I was fortunate enough to visit the homeland of my ancestors. The first stop on the trip was the capital of Greece, the beautiful city of Athens! The culture within this city thrives on the spirit of its people and the iconic structures it has to offer. The monumental landmark of Parthenon is located in the rocky hill area of Acropolis and was built during fifth century BC. and still stands 'til this day. If you love shopping on holidays, the South Side of Ermou street is where you want to be!
